We build faster hockey players

The Speed Lab is our in-season training floor: coached sessions Monday to Friday, built to make players and goalies faster on the ice, not bigger and slower off it. Goalie coaching, rehab, nutrition, mindset and vision under the same roof.

Ghost success stories

What our athletes are saying

The coaches are 10/10

"I love training here. The coaches are 10/10 and every day here is an amazing experience."
Jack Finke

Back from hip surgery

"Jamie worked with our son Ty after his hip labrum surgery, and when pain returned following his initial clearance, Jamie's rehabilitation approach quickly restored his strength and confidence. Ty went from considering retirement to looking forward to playing at Adrian for the 2025-2026 season."
Scott Rollenhagen

Worth the drive

"I drive 3 hours for this treatment and training on a consistent basis. If you're a hockey player, this is the best spot in Michigan!"

Questions

Who is in-person training for?
Hockey players and goalies, from minor hockey through pro. Adults 18+ can join Ghost Adult S&C, a coached small-group program with Ben Vutci three days a week.
How much does it cost?
The Speed Lab is $30 per drop-in, or $125 a month for unlimited in-season training. Private training, goalie coaching, nutrition, mindset and vision sessions are priced per session and in packs in the app.
Will my kid get bulky?
No. The Speed Lab trains what shows up on the ice: first-step quickness, stride power, change of direction and the strength to hold an edge. Players get stronger because strength is where speed comes from, but every session is written for a faster skater, not a bigger one. Read the full method on the Speed Lab page.
How do I book a session?
Use the live schedule at the bottom of this page, or download the Ghost Athletica app ( App Store or Google Play) to book sessions and track your progress. We train by appointment only.
Do you coach goalies?
Yes. Dr. Jamie Phillips, a former pro goalie, runs private and semi-private on-ice goalie coaching, and goalies are welcome in every Speed Lab session. Online, goalies can join Ghost Goaltending Labs.
I'm injured. Can I still train?
Start with Ghost Rehab & Performance. Our physical therapy is cash-pay and built for hockey players, led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
What if I don't live near Byron Center?
Train with us online. Our programs run in the Fitr app, from Complete Performance to focused strength, speed and conditioning blocks. See all programs or find your program.

No pressure. No guessing.
